Really annoyed

Just had a phone call from a nice lady saying that the insulation in my loft has been classified as an irritant by the World Health Organisation

which is obviously very worrying (is there a sarcasm font on here?)

anyway she asked me to confirm that I was the house owner

I replied with "What er what...." and she hung up on me!!!

bloomin' rude if you asks me

I wanted to be rude - how dare she be rude before I got a chance!!!

I also just had a phone call but ignored it as it was OVO. Sent them a snotty email earlier telling them that they now only have 10 days left in which to sort my account by deleting their fictitious bill produced at the end of August or I would be taking it to the Ombudsman. I specifically finished it by saying not to bother phoning me with any more apologies and excuses, and yet they have.

According to the voicemail it was Raman no doubt calling from Africa or India who wanted nothing more than to read off his script telling me how sorry they were.

Its been a beautiful day here in Brora Wasnt really recovered from yesterdays ride so found it hard going....managed 30 miles which isnt too shabby considering i was leaving enough snot on the A9 to bring out the gritting lorries
Have been experimenting with saddle height and fore n aft ......got the height about right but fore n aft went back to where it started from. Only saw one other cyclist today which was strange considering how nice it was, a few joggers who i try to warn of my approach so they dont jump a mile

SWMBO has found a house she wants to move to.
It is worth £1,000,000 more than our current house and we can;t afford it

but the main problem is that there is a large garden - so we would need a gardener

problem is that I have said that she is NOT allowed that bloke with the lawnmower from the Diet Coke ad some years ago!!!

am I being unreasonable???

To be fair Mo it was OVO who sacked all the UK help line employees an " Offshored " the helpdesk. The person you spoke to was almost certainly just someone in a distant land just doing the job so they have been employed to do so they can support their family. It's the people making the decisions to take away the local support who deserve the wrath of the public. Ovo is just a billing company, they buy the energy from the generators, it travels over the National Grid infrastructure to your home. They are parasites adding an extra layer of cost to peoples bills.

A splendid night out at the Pavilion Theatre last night. I had a glass of wine at the bar and splashed out on a reassuringly expensive bag of Revels, while Mrs TKK opted for the equally expensive Maltesers. I had a flashback to days of yore when I spotted these attached to the back of the seat in front of me.
