Do the clocks go back this weekend? I'm sure they do.

Dam. The clock in my car will be wrong for another 6 months in that case.

Yes they go back.

Good morning folks,
The router for our new Broadband service was delivered yesterday, looks quite smart without the ususal exterior antennae.
Mrs TKK and I are off to the lunchtime session of Poole Beer Festival held in St Aldhelms Church Hall, The church and the local branch of CAMRA share the profits and the Vicar is usually in attendance.🍺

Linksys are usually good stuff. My BT one doesn't have an antenna either and I've been happy enough with it. I have had absolutely no problems with BT regarding reliability and never suffer from any buffering when streaming even in HD, but they are just getting so damned expensive. I am wary of going elsewhere though and many locals seem to use Sky or Talktalk and constantly seem to be mentioning it going down or having problems with it. Not sure why it should mind you as it all just comes over the same wiring.

My contract is up in December and even with BT's not very generous fiver off if I renew, it will be £65! Sky, etc are around £26. Huge saving and, yes I know they will also shoot up once the contract is up too but at least it would give me a couple of years savings.

" toob " broadband. It's a full fibre to the premises installation, engineer is coming on the 31st to set it up. The router has WiFi 6 and I've already fired it up to check signal strength which is excellent. I'm currently with Zen Internet who have been excellent and I would heartily recommend them, but I'm paying £35 per month fore 80/20 fibre to the cabinet, toob are offering 900/900 for £25 per month with a no price increase guaranteed for 18 months.

Sounds like a good deal, but unfortunately not available here.

Well, I think I filled in the form correctly for my complaint to the Ombudsman. Here's hoping I might get some progress. Damned sure Ovo isn't getting away with wiping all my credit I had built up by producing a weird estimated bill with inflated meter readings. Maybe they think we are all idiots and will just accept it as it's too much hassle to chase up, but they thought wrong.
