Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
£5 a bottle is my price range......I am not into 'sophisticated' wines.......something tasty and easy to drink does me.

Morning all :hello:

Manky weather today by the looks of it; glad I got all of my gardening done yesterday.
Today, we shall be making sure everything in the house is up to snuff, as we've got friends stopping over next week.

Good stuff! Getting the tidy-up done early avoids the need to scurryfunge.

Yes - I used to drink too much wine - and generally stuck to bottle around £5
at that time I also used to chat to someone who stated that any bottle that costed less than £20 was only worth putting on chips!!!!

I think he was "quite well off"!!!!!!

nowadays I tend to go for something around £7 when Tesco have their 25% off thingy

having a moan at Mo’s favourite energy company . 😀

I actually despise them they have caused me so much grief and I don’t think I can even move as they are about the only company that will deal with storage heaters with a 2 meter Total Heating with Total Control set up

Had a spin on the Wattbike. That’s 55 miles done since Monday so maybe it’ll shift some lard. Pleased with how realistic it feels on the gradients.

A trip to Wimborne. Visited the " Burly Baker " and picked up a loaf, teacakes and a cinnamon swirl 😁
Popped in to the Minster to get some charity Christmas cards and timed it well as the choir was practicing Christmas Carols 😎
The Minster sells cards from a broad range of charities, all arranged in alphabetical order. Lovely surroundings too.

Started young, and still going.
Continuing on the freezer surprise meals this week, today's offering looks like a beef casserole and a spaghetti bolognese
I'll have the casserole and do a jacket potato to go with it. MrsP can have the bolognese.
We now have quite heavy rain now, and it's in for the night.
