Call the S A S.
Took your advice. Hard to believe but they didn't seem interested in my problem.
No wonder this country is falling apart

I’ve been cycling in Scotland. Actually recognised some of the route from the World Championships in Glasgow.

Hi folks :okay: had a weather window today before the rain blew in so did my over the hills ride. With a headwind it was hard going and cant imagine i could emulate this on my trainer. I often ponder/muse as i cycle along and some Bob Dylan lyrics [adjusted] came to mind...'You dont need a weatherman to know which way the snot goes'

Evening all . Just catching up on here as I’ve spent most of the week in bed feeling very sorry for myself .
Just starting to feel a bit better. But it’s left me with a stinking headache and a hacking cough . No idea what I had other than it wasn’t covid but it knocked the stuffing out of me a lot more than it did when I did have covid back in 2020.
Have a good evening everyone.

Morning all.
It was soooo dark this morning at 0600, still is tbh.
Sat in conservatory now, listening to SoTS with our Tony.
I have the family around later as grandson No1 has decided he and partner** are cooking a meal for everyone and using my place to do it. I dread the mess they will leave.
**she is French and they are off to France for 2 weeks.

I'm listening to Tony Blackburn on the radio and drinking my first mug of tea.
Another cloudy day in prospect.
I will be out and about on the bike later, I have a book to return to the library, Ade Edmundson's biography called Berserker. It's a good read with plenty of humour and serious bits to keep it interesting.
There are also a few essentials that I need from the local shops.
Yesterday afternoon I found a pair of secateurs that I had been looking for for several weeks. They were on the ground where I grew my climbing beans. They needed a bit of a clean and a drop of penetrating oil on the spring, but they are fine now.
Another busy day in paradise. 🍵

Morning all :hello:

MrsD's decided that she wants to go to Porlock this morning and have lunch in the Bottom Ship. Fine by me. :okay:
I manage to prune my large cherry tree yesterday, so will be having a trailer run to the tip sometime today or tomorrow.
Next on the gardening agenda is to cut back a Snow Berry hedge and a Hazel tree; they can wait until next week though.
