I had no idea that Heinz (the bass guitarist)) died of motor neurone disease aged just 58.
Good morning. I must gird my loins before heading out for a run. I've checked the ambient by wandering out to the recycling bin, and it's a tad blowy but not too cold. We've enough food to feed a small army, quite a few cans of beer but need some wine. Popped around to the local shop which has recently rebranded to Morrisons Local and was quite impressed with the range available, especially for a small local shop. That saves me the hell of visiting the big Supermarkets.

Bloody horrible disease. One of my dad's neighbours died from it a couple of years ago. Also just in his early fifties.

I find it takes around 3 weeks before you really start to notice a difference though. Thankfully, the weather is still looking reasonably mild for a bit yet too.
I think I heard that it is approx 1 hour per month.

I think the rate of increase per day varies depending on the month, but, as an overall figure, 1 hour per month sounds near enough for all but the most nit-picking.
It may vary with latitude too?, but, again, based on where I live, currently dark at 16:30 - 17:00, in June that will become 22:30 - 23:00, so about 6 hours difference in six months.

To make matters worse I put dark woolen joggers in with it.
