Grandson has just demolished two large bowls of Hoops, a couple of rounds of toast, a Pain au Raisin and a Pain au Chocolat. I briefly considered trying to match him, but half a round of toast and a Pain au Raisin later I've given up. We watched Match of the Day this morning and as he is a Leeds born and bred Bournemouth supporter ( Up the Cherries 🍒🍒 ⚽️ ) He was very pleased.

Do not try to compete with grandchildren where food is concerned. It will end badly....for YOU

Wow my drive is flooded. My garage is flooded as well. My neigjbour and I have moved our cars. Mine was in the garage and a river was running through it and to the side of the garage.

I can hear the boulders in the stream moving against each other and they are HUGE. Further down just past my neighbours property they now have 2 rivers running down and I have no doubt that properties further down will be flooded as well.

we have never had this much rain or water.

I've seen that movie. "Viper" from Top Gun is in it.

How's your boat building skills. Do you reckon the pair of you could build a raft.

I had blue Stilton and tomato chutney for lunch . Take away curry ordered for tonight.Melton Mowbray pork pie for tomorrows breakfast with a good helping of pickled onions
