Morning folks 
dry here with a 18mph sou'westerly which should ensure a good work out on parts of my circular route over the hills and back along the A9, On this route a month or so ago i noticed another cyclist in my mirror who was neither closing the gap or falling behind, this went on for a few miles until i pulled over out of curiosity to see if it was someone i knew. I waved as she went by, a youngster 40 yrs [ approx] younger! i felt chuffed that i had kept pace or maybe she was just being sympathetic to the old git on the Dawes

This week 30 years ago we'd over two foot of snow on the ground, 29 years ago there were cases of heatstroke.

That's no good.Morning all
Shopping in Minehead first thing, then dropping in to my mates place to pick up a motorcycle trailer that his neighbour is selling.
He sent me pictures of it last night; it looks OK and he only wants 30 quid for it - couldn't turn it down at that price. Just needs a check over and a lick of paint.

I've now found the stove blacking that I was looking for. Stuffed in behind mouthwash of course, where else would it be.

I just had a sandwich and NO pudding today as Mo moans at me.....I know it's for my own good......

Been for an interview today
it is for volunteer role at the library - they want people to be there and answer questions that anyone has about computer and associated stuff
Seems like I fit the bill - but we still have to go through some tick box stuff as it is all based on counsel stuff
so there is a training and induction session in a couple of weeks followed by a "shadowing" thing somewhere where it is already up and running
induction include stuff like insurance and safeguarding and I am sure it will be exciting!!!

it does seem like volunteering for stuff is far more difficult than things where you get paid for it!!

Well that was a laugh...Mystic Meg could do a better weather forecast! 18mph? more like 40/50 reached slightly higher ground and the head on squalls of wind was enough to grind me to a halt...fumbling to drop down a gear or three and another blast would push me into the gutter...Im up for a work out but this would be masochism so turned round. I did head off to ride up my windmill hill as the wind was blowing up it.
