Talking of books (Kindle really) yesterday I did something very rare in the middle of the night (couldn't sleep)...

... I ditched a book a fair way in.

727 pages and I was at about page 250 when I thought to myself "this is going nowhere fast" and I binned it.

I hate having to do that.

No sun here, just more rain so I popped over to Vietnam for a bimble

I'm not surprised, lots of them have arrived here in the UK this year

I've been stuck indoors all day waiting for a parcel, be here by 12:00, past and gone. here by 18:00 ......
Lost two parcels last week, they said they tried to delivery last Friday....I was in, no one one rang the bell, two days later both parcels went AWOL and had to get a refund..........

Went to Pebbles cider tavern at lunchtime and ended up having 4 pints of scrumpy.
I blame the Welsh farmer couple we got talking to.
Got back home and had a nap.
Tea and cake time now.

Did very well to avoid getting wet today. Very overcast to begin with, brightened up a little mid walk, then heavy showers just as we finished. Today’s lunchstop was at Loch Gamhna…

Lovely lunch, a bit blowy so we sat inside. Great views of Chesil from the terrace.
Bus back over the causeway into Weymouth left us ample time for a pint before getting the train back to Poole. All in all a grand day out 😎🍺☀️

Roast lamb today. The last of the New Zealand lamb that we got from Aldi.

What's wrong with Welsh Lamb?
Especially when it's in the next field.

15000 steps done today but still have not been for a ride this month! Hopefully, it will happen this weekend.

Just bought some binoculars.

Me being me decided that brute force wins every time and walked out the shop with some 20x70 monsters. Just need to find something interesting in the distance to look at now.
