Hello Hillers, haven't seen you in ages! Has the day finally dawned? From my limited experience, retirement works best sitting down. Beautiful, beautiful morning in wonderful Lancashire. Clear sky, not a breath of wind and 7C already.I'm ride leader today and we have a route of 73 miles, 5000 feet and some of the finest countryside the Ribble Valley can offer. Hopefully we can get a shift on and beat the other rides to a rather fine cafe in Waddington.

Funny that I used to pay when we went out with the parents out, now I pay when we go out with the kids, seems to have skipped me by.
Lovely clear morning here with just a very slight low mist across the fields, looks fantastic.
