I’ve just watched Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage Wars. Thanks for mentioning it @PaulSB Enjoyed it. Although it was amusing, it is sadly true how the elderly are viewed and treated. Makes me angry. Everything is geared around young people now. I was just reading a local news story about a lady my age with asthma who had been in hospital a couple of times for chest infections, and they had stuck a DNR notice on her records without asking her or her family. Bloody scandalous. Life is precious whether you are 8 or 80.

A great film Mo where the oldies come out on top!

On a lighter note there is an Australian film called Dalkeith where the residents in an age care facility adopt a racing greyhound.

I do not approve of Greyhound racing and we have adopted a retired Grey but it is a great film if you can find it on the net.

Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
It's a little cooler here this morning, only 18⁰c.
Just getting ready for breakfast and then another lazy day around the pool swimming, taking part in the aquarobics, archery, and crazy golf.
It's a tough life.
But, we are back to the cold and dark tomorrow evening.
Enjoy your day everyone.
