Afternoon all . Just back from the sailing club .No sailing for me as I was on duty today
It was a little trying as one of the duty team that’s supposed to be in charge had to leave ( aged parent emergency) plus our normal rescue boat engines were away being serviced and the temporary replacement was a little short of power .
But things went ok, mrs exlaser stepped to help and no one needed rescuing .😀
Plus the after sailing banter was as good as ever .
Normal service will resume next week .

We went to the theatre this evening but not for a normal play
It was a lecture entitled "Psychology of a Serial Killer"
Very well done - just a speaker and a big screen showing a PowerPoint - but an excellent speaker and a very well put together talk
some funny bits (!!!)
especially after the interval when she did a short question session
One question was "can anyone name any female serial killers"???
someone at the top yelled out "Margaret Thatcher"
Great evening
she did seem surprised by the level of knowledge - apparently serial killers seem to be more 'popular' in Liverpool
also - most of her talks have been to a small theatre that is not full
this was the Liverpool EMpire - and it was packed!!

Good morning. Still dark but enough moon to see the clouds scudding across the sky. We should be riding but every now and then there's a heavy gust. Easy to bail but I'll wait to hear from my buddy. Till then it's rule #9.

Went to the local independent cinema with friends to see A Bunch of Amateurs. I don't know if it's available online but worth looking for. Very funny and equally sad throughout, an excellent storyline which follows the antics of members of an amateur Bradford film society/club.

Good morning people.
Morning all.
6° but feels much colder.
A good sleep last night so feeling quite good.
Need some bits from Aldi so will nip there shortly.
Tried a new (to us) nosh yesterday......
We had salmon, which is standard but to go with it I opened a can of potatoes and put them in the Tefal Actifry. They sautèd perfectly.
