Just shows what I know. I assumed cumberland pie was a pie with cumberland sausage. Nope....no sausage, just mince 😀
It was very tasty though. I did beans and brocoli with it.....all very yummy.

Took yer time eating it though. Or does that time include cooking time?

Venturing out to get some shopping this morning.
This heavy cold thing is a bummer. MrsD is still bunged up two weeks in, but feels better in herself; I'm still snotty and chesty after a week. Hope it shifts soon.

Errands to be run today, so another chance to get out on the bike for a while.

Hello. A touch of frost last night and we now have beautiful clear blue sky and sunshine. 1⁰ at present.

Today is mainly an allotment day, a couple of rotten fence panels and a post need investigation, overwintering weeds to clear and an awful lot of leaves. Spending a month in California last autumn resulted with no leaves getting swept off the allotment. I have no suitable mulch for my asparagus bed, considering using fallen leaves for this purpose but I'm unsure if it's a good plan? 🤔

Also thinking about a new shed. A rather fancy one. 😛

First I need breakfast, sort out the club rides for the weekend and have my walk.

A new shed for your allotment? Our local allotment is adjacent to the Pocket Park where I do some of my running training. I walk along the path next to the allotment fence and have a nose at the various storage arrangements. A good friend of mine used to brew beer in his shed on his allotment, it got quite social in the summer months 😁 )
When Wimborne council sold off the land that was being used by the Football club and adjacent allotments they relocated them, but put a restriction on any buildings allowed. They provided a few ranks of sentry box sized wooden storage units, barely big enough to hold a few tools and not actually on each allotment but off to one side. Barstewards
