They're tempting, but when comparing the price with marmite free cheese topped rolls there's often a hefty premium. The Marmite peanut butter being a case in question. It's peanut butter with 10% marmite, the price per jar is far higher pro rata than mixing it yourself.

Could always just buy the cheese topped rolls and spread Marmite inside I suppose.

A longer walk this morning. Just over 11 miles with around 1,000 feet of elevation so a good workout.

Definitely needing my lunch soon as I’ve only had a mug of decaf this morning before I set out.

Yesterday I ordered some Ergon grips from Brilliant Bikes. They were delivered earlier today by DPD. I started to fit them and noticed that the inner metal sleeve was distorted at one end preventing the grip from sliding onto the handlebar. There was no damage to the clamp or the paint finish so it was obviously a fault in manufacturing that had got past QC. I emailed Brilliant bikes and got a message almost by return saying they were popping a new set in the post. This was followed a few minutes later by a returns form for me to print out and drop off at our local collection point. A short while later I received a notification from DPD that they had collected a parcel from Brilliant Bikes that will be with me tomorrow.
Outstanding service again from Brilliant Bikes 👍😎

Todays culinary delight was cheese, onion, leek and potato bake....with a slice of garlic bread to go with it.
Did I mention the glass off Shiraz? 🙂

I think I’ve broken down. I can’t be bothered this morning. It will just be a short one round the riverside trail I think.

It’s not long faired up and a bit colder here. Blue recycling bins for us today.
