One week ago after three punctures on one ride and a trip with International Rescue a good friend was muttering and ranting "bloody tubeless, I'm ditching these and going back to tubes!" She has.

Today's ride a different friend while changing his third tube was muttering and ranting "Bloody tube, must have a look at tubeless tyres!"

Go figure that one out.

Finally I have a bike and a body that are working - although not properly in the case of the body

So - finally managed to get out for a ride. Realised that it hasn't rained properly for quite a while so decided to risk the canal paths. Normally this would involve coming home witha bike, including the chain etc, covered in mud in winter.
However, pretty much all was dry and I managed over 20 miles

When I checked it is the first ride I have logged on Strava for over a month!!!

Also saw several canal boats moving around - which is nice

Good morning. Grey! The forecast says it will be grey.........until next Monday! ☹️

Small person day. I have the snotty end of a cold, Mrs P has a cold, neither of us on top form.

Looking through my Inbox there's a stack of email to answer, MOT to book and various other admin type things which need attention so I'll get up and start those now. Alternatively I can spend the next two hours drinking coffee and reading the paper. 🤔

:hello: Good morning folks, feeling more my normal self today, makes note, don't get carried away down the pub and eat very large pub meals. In other news we have our new door and now we're just waiting for the path to be relaid.

Started young, and still going.
Location
Barnet,
Good morning all from a sunny Barnet.
Clear skys at the moment.
The washing machine is doing it's stuff.
Another day where I will get out on the bike for a while.
I have just ordered a Vax carpet cleaner, and it's being delivered tomorrow.
We had all the carpets cleaned last year, and they are looking a bit grubby again.
The company did a good job, but the cost for the front room, hall, stairs and landing was £300.
This machine, with tools for stairs and furniture and 4 litres of solution was £204.
I will report back when I've tried it out.
