Morning all

Bit wet and windy overnight.
Showers forecast today and the wind has abated.
Furniture charity place is picking up a bed from us this morning, so I can begin sorting out the dining room at last.
Yesterday, I had to shift a washing machine and a fridge around to get them into the right places. Back was playing up a bit after that.
Sold a freezer and a folding bed on FB yesterday, being picked up later.
Another week, or so, and we'll have this place pretty much sorted.

Good morning folks, slept through to six this morning, first time thats happened for ages, I was knackered yesterday though, got the call at half six, my good lady in need of the commode, so we were both up early.

Good morning all.
The sun was shining, but it was too bright too early . It's now windy and cloudy with rain on its way.
The usual things to do today, such as dog walking and then a bimble out on the bike for a few essentials.
MrsP is at the local wildlife centre this morning, so it's just me and muttley for a while.

Morning. Little walk/jog done, bath had and now it's porridge time. I bought a couple of packets of this yesterday to mix in with things and put some in my porridge. Rather nice.

Gosh what a lot of chat on CC today. Made it here at last. Beautiful and bright earlier. Dank and wet now. I've had coffee, toast and chilli jelly and all is well.

Seeing my FA at lunchtime for the annual financial review. I always say it, I'm not a wealthy man, just take comfort in having a professional who I trust implicitly to confirm the money won't run out. I need to re-read her recent email of questions next.

After that it's the Aldi run. Mrs P went yesterday and returned with about 20% of what we actually need, if I did that? 🤔

Emailed the school head last night and got that one off my chest. It won't make any difference. I lost it this time. Absolutely furious yesterday. I've seen many near misses and twice been run off the road on my bike in my own village by women driving their kids to school. Some of these people live a ten minute walk away across the fields on a hard track.

When I'm cycling out my tactic, if it is my right of way, is to stop, not move and wait for the driver to back up. Done this twice now. Sick of the ones who pull over to my side to pass parked cars and expect the cyclist to yield.

Mr WD did a cut the other day. He really did it just to start the mower. He just cut some parlths in the field.

We like to leave it for the spring wild flowers to flower

MrsD's sorting out her study room and I've been busy planting three rows of spuds in one of my veggie beds.

Ironing done, now eating a sandwich for a light lunch.

Weather has brightened up although its quite windy now. Did my first cut nearly a month ago and it hasn't grown long enough yet to justify another trim.
