Yep, same here. Our little spell of lovely weather is gone for a while I think. Back to the waterproof gear this morning.


I watched the remake of “Why didn’t they ask Evans” last night. Written and directed by Hugh Laurie. I thought it was good. Back on tonight and tomorrow

We has rain also....set to be in for the day.
Bank holiday here (not for the pagans among us) which means I get a day off work 😀. Now, what to do with it is the question.

Had a nice walk on Staple Plain yesterday and then an impromptu Sunday lunch at the Butchers Arms in Carhampton.
MrsD's got a cold but she's struggling on.

Long party night last night - got to sleep 5.25am.

Got up at 11.30am, Mrs SD (lightweight) 12.50pm.

It's persisting down here in Poole. Our " lost pond " in pocket park has reappeared and several water plants have sprung into growth.

Good morning all, like most of the country, it's raining. After the lovely day yesterday the cats were not happy, and refused to go out.
The bin lorries have been down our road and woke us up at 6.30.
Our daughter is coming round this afternoon to check up on us.
I have the usual dog walking to be done, and then I think it will be a domestics type of day.

I may be wrong but I seem to remember Why didn’t they ask Evans was one of the Miss Marple series televised some time ago

Morning peeps. Started to hammer down about 6.30, woke me up but I soon fell asleep again and didn't wake till 8.30. This doing something at 3.00am just might work. I didn't bother with anything useful but did knock up a passable full size copy of Michaelangelo's David............must do a little light dusting later, cushion covers probably need a wash too.

I'd already decided to skip today's ride as joining the walking group seemed a drier alternative. Set off time was 8.50 so I've missed that. Mrs P arose early and has gone.

Rovers are on the box at 12.30.......I feel beer and a well-made cheese sandwich is on the cards.

Not really a playlist, they are stat's from an App called stats.fm which is one of many Apps that tap into the Spotify ecosystem.

The App is really good at helping to ferret out new tracks according to your musical tastes.

We listen to a lot of what could be termed good quality pop, pop-dance, edm, trance etc and tend to steer clear of eg Radio 2 fodder. Although we do like a trip back in time on occasion.
