Not really a playlist, they are stat's from an App called stats.fm which is one of many Apps that tap into the Spotify ecosystem.

The App is really good at helping to ferret out new tracks according to your musical tastes.

We listen to a lot of what could be termed good quality pop, pop-dance, edm, trance etc and tend to steer clear of eg Radio 2 fodder. Although we do like a trip back in time on occasion.

This is very interesting to read. Mrs P is very much up to date with listening to many different styles of music. I'm pretty much stuck in my younger days or growing old with my heroes. 🤔 Looking back and when I do listen to modern music I appreciate how much I've missed.

In the car if I have music on the radio it's Smooth radio. Not quite what it sounds and the play lists are populated with many classics. Yesterday I suddenly found myself dancing around singing at the top of my voice..............at 70mph on the M65 this wasn't a good plan

I blame the Four Tops..........I can't help myself.......

Occasionally, Absolute Radio, the station that is played VERY LOUD where I work ( in order to be heard over the VERY LOUD machinery ) plays Dire Straits 'Walk of Life' and I can't help but bop around to it within the confines of my work station. When this happens, I'm aware of others looking at me in an amused manner.
Well, I'm nearly 70 and don't give a monkeys - ! :okay:
And that's also the title of a great album by Chas & Dave - ! ^_^

Music, like all Arts is an incredibly personal thing.

I need 'fresh stuff' as does Mrs SD - so that's fortunate!

Neither of us likes 'same old same old' apart from an occasional dip-in & look-back.

Applies to everything, including films, TV and books. Rewatches and rereads are 'out' here - although I confess to having reread Shardik, LOTR & Papillion from my youth.

AFAIK, around 80-90% of people lock into a musical era from some point in their life and stick with it - nowt wrong with that either.

The rest are far more adventurous and generally surf a wave of fresher sounds. Spotify is a great facilitator of this. And for a tenner a month is crazy good value.

We have had Spotify since late 2018 and here you can see how many different Artists & Tracks that we have listened to within that timeframe:

You can also see that we are a late night couple too!
