Well the day went well, we had 12 boats out , the racing was good as was the food . So everyone went home happy , including mrs exlaser who finished 6 th ( equal on points to the 5th place boat, but lost on count back. If it had been a club race mrs exlaser would have been disappointed with that but the standard of sailing at Open meetings is so much higher.
We are now home , after having chips on the way home and waiting for wine o’clock ( eight o’clock) . 😀😀
Mrs exlaser is in 898.

Shite night for me too. Every now and again I get a horrible pain in my foot like electric shocks every few seconds….nerve damage I think. It started in the evening and went on most of the night. Eventually stopped a couple of hours ago.

I was intending a walk/jog this morning but I’ll see how I feel once I get going. Might just be a walk as I feel shattered.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
An early dog walk, and then we are off to join the crowds to support our son who is running the marathon today.
We plan to go to Bermondsey on the train, that's the 12 miles point, and then travel across to the end and meet him there.
It's his 2nd full marathon and has trained properly, following training plans etc.
He is a keen runner, and has done lots of half marathons, and does his monthly Park runs. He says this will be his last full marathon as the time he has to commit to it is too much.
He is aiming for 3.15hrs.

Good morning all..
It’s forecast to be wet with very little wind, it must be my turn to go sailing 😂😂😀.
Seriously though , it is just me going sailing to today as mrs exlaser is paying for her efforts yesterday in doing three races in a day. When we are club racing we only do one.

Happy St George’s day to everyone in England ( am more of a st Patrick’s man myself heritage wise 😀) . Anyone doing anying in celebration ? We are having a St George’s themed lunch at the club , decorating the club house and having sausage and mash for lunch . 😀😀

Have a lovely day folks what ever you are doing .
