Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I can’t personally see what the hassle is . I was in and out within five minutes.
It is very much a personal decision..
I think about the consequences if polio vaccine hadn’t been developed also Malaria vaccine.all largely eradicated.
Do people still need Malaria vaccinations when visiting holiday destinations where Malaria is still endemic?
I’ve had all the vaccinations Polio .Shingles .pneumonia.Tetanus when offered. All one off vaccinations.
If there is ever a preventative treatment for dementia developed I’ll be first in the queue.
When Mrs p was first diagnosed with Ovarian cancer she was adamant she wouldn’t have Chemotherapy or radiotherapy because of the side affects. She changed her mind after mine family and friends persuaded her of the consequences. As it happens it happens a major surgery’ solved that problem .
She is now on a maintenance dose of Letrozol for the next five years Side affects are frequent hot flushes .As she says better that than permanently in a cold grave.Six monthly check ups at L R I Oncology
Hot flushes horrendous parking situation at the LRI All a bit of a hassle but better than the possible consequences
Its not the injection itself that is the problem. Its the illness and complications that follow that's the problem as in Daves case. Long covid is very debilitating as I have no doubt Dave can testify to. And of course there seems to be a huge increase in the number of people who are dying from sudden heart problems as well. Well above the norm.
I see the Swiss have stopped Covid vaccinations for everyone unless your own Dr advises you to have it. Speaks volumes I think.
And on that note I will desist from the subject as its something that can cause a lot of arguments.
