Dry here but rain is forecast.
Going in to visit MrsD later, the SiL is picking me up. Looks like she will be in till Tuesday but that will be decided later.
Just washed glasses (I don't put them in the dishwasher). Next I will empty the dishwasher and put stuff away.

Went to bed 3.15am. Got to sleep around 5am when we switched the music off.

Now wide awake due to birds waking me up - Mrs SD gently snoring.

Very wet out, was going out on a walk today but sod that if the rain doesn't stop - we don't walk if the weather is crap - where's the joy in that?

Going back to sleep now.

Not long back. A very hard 10k in the rain. It was supposed to be an easy run, but due to the usual heavy legs and still carrying too much weight, it felt anything but. Still gives me a good buzz though so I will plod on

Looks like we're in for a showery day today.
Should be good for steam on the WSR.
Sunday lunch booked at the Bell, down by the harbour.
Might drop off at the station on the walk down and watch some of the activity.

A good night's sleep following a hectic Saturday looking after granddaughter. A trip to the bakers after breakfast, and an afternoon in the park swinging swings and pushing roundabouts was followed by a kick about. Mrs Tenkaykev said " it's too quiet " and went upstairs to find our bed covered in her earrings and necklaces😄
May begins tomorrow, my Birthday month and a trip to the Highlands are on the agenda.

Dog walking, grass cutting and a bimble out on the bike are on the list for today.
Plus I might have to stop at the shops as I don't have anything for dinner today and MissP is coming round.

I'm having a history night, watching Lucy Worsley investigates on the Iplayer.
I watched all 4 episodes, the Witch trials, the black death, the Princes in the tower and the madness of King George.
Well worth watching if you like British history.
