Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have been a busy bee. Washing done and drying outside. Dishes washed and put away. Bathroom cleaned. Vacuuming done and I have cleaned the woodburner out and cleaned the glass. I need to buy some blacking for the outside.

Got up early today at 9.25am.

Big day for me as,following last year's illness and this year's hip issue, today will be my first bike ride for a very long time.

Did standard safety and lube check on Trekkie yesterday plus cleaned helmet, glasses and shoes as all were a bit dusty.

Hoping bum holds out as I have been Turboing regularly and my second bike has the same model saddle on it as Trekkie.

Will just be doing a nice simple ride of around 10 miles - a 'starter for 10'.

Okay then, first short ride completed with no hassle. Bum feels fine too - a bit of a result.

Average moving speed was 12mph,
was about 13.4mph until I hit v.heavy traffic in Kendal. Although, in truth, I am not much bothered about mph, it's just a reference to pre off-bike performance. Plus, not really indicative as it was a very short ride with not much climbing (<500 feet).

Some stat's:
