I was given a short list of jobs. My bike didn't get cleaned. 😢

The TV is now showing another bunch of nameless nonentities telling each other how wonderful they are and how they will soon gain deserved national treasure status. It's the BAFTAs.

What is it that makes the great British public want to watch this shite.

Doesn't get a look in here...... the words pins and eyes come to mind.

Morning all :hello:

Sun's out and it's looking good for the next few days.
Boring old farts arriving around midday.
I'm off to the tip first thing then I've got a shoe rack to assemble.
Probably having a BBQ tonight which should be interesting, as neither of our guests drink much and both are fussy eaters - oh well, all the more for me.

Going to paint some fences and the big bike storage/workshop today. Bought an electric spryer so it should be a lot easier.

Good day. It looks wonderful outside, sunny, still and 11⁰. The guys want to do a century, in particular my buddy who is in training for the Pan Celtic Race, apparently if he does two centuries this week he will complete his "CTL" - chronic training load. I have no idea, absolutely no idea, as I don't do numbers beyond average speed and HR. No doubt during today I will be enlightened and will have forgotten by tomorrow. On a day like this we would usually do the Silverdale ride. It's a 112 miler, almost flat at around 4,000 feet, through glorious countryside. An absolute belter of a ride but for some very strange reason I'm lacking confidence to be almost 60 miles into the ride before turning for home. Very weird and out of character, I think it's because I was nackered yesterday, so I'm going to suggest we do a local loop - the Ghostbusters - which is close to home and if I'm in trouble I can cut short. Very odd.

Must dash, need to get kit ready, have breakfast etc. I'll show you the Ghostbuster route shortly.
