There is so much cost involved in taking cards, you have the monthly fee and/or you have a percentage of the amount, you have the chance of chargebacks each which are £15 whether in your favour or not, then you have the audit trail, with cash there isn't one.Been for a ride with my stepson who is 20 years younger than me. 32kms done and the age difference really shows. We stopped at a sea side cafe in Pen but they don't take cards so we went without. I don't understand places that don't take cards, they must lose a fair bit of business like that.
