Morning all.
1st load of washing (bedding) in. While that is drying** I will put the coloured stuff in.
**we used to enjoy using a washing line but sadly the Starlings used it as target practice......especially bad when they had been eating red berries😐

Another glorious day in Perthshire, clearly the sun shines on the righteous. Today's plan is a 6 - 8 mile walk, picnic and perhaps a visit somewhere. We'll eat out tonight, that's likely to be the very good chippy in town. The cost of restaurants is breathtaking. We went for a curry on Saturday night - £57 including one beer. I understand the problem and sympathise but I can't help but feel high prices deter possible customers. On Arran I paid £10.40 for 1½ pints of cider.

It's odd though. Visited the House of Braur yesterday. Very posh. Said to have the poshest loos in Scotland. I'll vouch for that. They have a captive audience yet a very good looking scone, jam, cream and pot of tea was £4.95. At home that would be £9/10.00.

Morning all.
After yesterday's busy day, today will be a bit calmer.
Dog walking, grass cutting a bit of gardening/clearing up and a bimble out on the bike for a while.
MrsP's hip is giving her some jip, and my right knee is sore. It's not for the faint hearted this getting old lark.🙂

Bonjour. The plan for today is to go to Bude for 1pm as the girls want to walk around the boot sale there in search of possible bargains .
Tomorrow, I shall go on the Tarka trail to Barnstaple from Bideford and possibly beyond. It will probably be my only ride as we are heading back on Friday.
