Back from dropping my car off at the garage. I rode my bike back so that's my exercise for the day. 😆

Well that was depressing. Just had a shufty at the other forum. Good god, nothing changes does it.

And I forgot my phone in my car. Never mind. Its locked anyway and I have my tablet ( no not ibupforen) Classic.

I'm trying to summon up some enthusiasm for getting out for a few miles. Used to be I couldn't wait to get out. Now, I've to really talk myself into it. I think a lot of it is down to how busy the roads seem to be getting. Even the B roads are much busier than they used to be and I don't trust drivers to be paying attention and not gawping at their phones or these massive multi media screens cars come with now.

I've noticed that there is more traffic on the roads here as well. When we first moved her, we hardly saw any cars, now it's totally different.

It's quite cool here as well. My hands were really cold. I wish I'd put a jacket on as well.

I was intending to have a ride this morning. Just been out side and it is rather chilly.Decided not to.Long sleeved jersey ,tights , gloves One of those days you get half way round the sun appears and I will be sweating like a pig.

today I have lots to do
but mostly need to wait in for the bathroom fitter to come and fix a minor problem with the sinks

the boss said he would ring first thing to give us some idea of a time so we can plan around it - so far no call!

after that - or around that - I have some stuff that has to go to a charity shop and stuff for the tip
plus I was hoping for another ride

We also need to discuss the back lawn - back and front are both bad this year but the back is just shameful
basically is wasn;t laid very well when the whole garden was done several years ago - long story but it was done by a small company that I thought I could trust but they let me down - possibly not the owner's fault totally - but anyway he let me down

so- amongst other things the grass is aweful this year in spite of having a professional coming round several times a year with weedkiller and fertiliser - it has worked OK until this year and gradually improved the mess that was left
but this year it looks like the moss took over the winter and having killed that the grass has not been able to regain ground

we are discussing either getting someone to reseed it properly - or just redoing the whole garden again and put up with the expense

anyway - better ring the batroom company and find out what is happening

I don't know why we don't simply plant lawns made from moss in the first place, save a lot of grief later on down the line. Lush, green and verdant, like my hair.

I've made a decision that when I pootle out on the bike, I'm going to stop at the barbers for a haircut. It's got to the time for a good trim up. I also need to go to the local grocers for a couple of things. Fresh broccoli, carrots, apples and nectarines.

The deep irony of having a daughter that owns two gents barber shops is that I don't have enough hair to visit either of them and claim the free hair cut she promised me.
