And the rain is here. The temp has dropped quite a lot now and it's gone quite cool.

Been up about 30 minutes, both feeling very refreshed, surprisingly.
Supposed to be banging hot out there today but it is overcast and pleasant instead.
Suits us tbh but the forecasters really are very poor. A sham of a profession imo. Farmers and hedgerow spider webs make for a better forecasting method.
Dossy reading day today plus, after 3 consecutive long fun nights, we will be early to bed by about 10.30pm for a Kindle & Cuddle night - which are really very nice.

Boring day today. I tried Netflix: nothing. Tried You Tube: nothing. Tried Prime: nothing. Tried terrestrial TV: nothing.. So I have given up on tv for now, made a cup of coffee and started a new book I bought yesterday called: One of the family by Nicky Campbell.
Finished a book last night about the True Story of the Great Escape. Mrs G said she would like to read it but I don't think she will see it through, not really her thing I think.
By the way, it is raining now.

We've had sausage sandwiches today as well, the last of the cumberland sausages the stepson got us from the butchers at the car boot sale he visits regularly.
