Good Morning. It's a bright and sunny day here in Wimbledon. We have a good B&B, clean, comfy bed and quiet considering where we are. Good breakfast. Poor coffee.

We spent 10½ hours at the tennis yesterday. Overall we saw three complete matches on #1 court; two were excellent - Medvedev v Fery (1st time Brit) and Sinner v Schwartzmann. Very entertaining. Sandwiched between these two was a women's match Krejicova v Watson. Awful. Utterly boring with neither looking in anyway interested.

I would put young Arthur Fery down as one to watch.

We're heading to the Wimbledon tennis museum later today then train home and good, clear, cool Lancashire water.

Today I am 69 or 96 - depends on your view of the world!!!

Daughter and her partner drove us up from Poole to Southwell yesterday. They stayed overnight and will head back to Edinburgh via a few days in Buxton. We're doing a bit at Mrs Tenkaykevs brothers house for a couple of days. House clearers arrive next week.
It's focused our minds on decluttering and making sure our wills are up to date. Wouldn't want the kids to have to go through what's been a very sad few weeks.

Good morning all, it's a bit overcast this .later on I'm meeting up with a good friend of mine who I haven't seen for 5 years. I was his best man at his wedding which was on the day of Princess Diana's funeral.
MrsP is off the wild life rescue sanctuary, she volunteers there a couple of days a week.

Good to hear from you. It’s always worrying when people suddenly disappear. Glad the bike is still going well and hope you’re still enjoying the new house too.

Not sure why I bother going to bed some nights. The brain just wouldn’t switch off so I’m back up and dressed. I’ll no doubt head out for an early walk soon.
Thanks Mo and apologies for vanishing into the ether for a while ^_^ I hope youre insomnia phase passes, i get it to and should also resist afternoon naps! Off for a spin this morning over the hills and far away [or as far as the get up and go lasts!]. Garden is coming along and have been enjoying lots of home grown veg, its good to be able to just pop outside for a lettuce/beetroot/parsley/ broadbeans etc. Happy birthday PaulSB im convinced that cyclists years are a good 20 yrs younger,,a friend said to me that i looked like i was getting younger since i started cycling...i wont argue with that!
