Good morning. Last yesterday, first today. The forecast is dull but windy....................a good drying day..........my coloured wash is done, whites are on now.............I'll get everything on the line then. Yep! Good drying day. Life is exciting. I'm trying a new regime at the moment. Rather than idling around for a couple of hours, drinking coffee, reading the paper etc. which can set my mood for the day into not doing much I'm making an early start on chores with the idea of relaxing more during the day, perhaps having a regular nap. We will see...........

I have plenty of mundane chores to crack on with, some bike maintenance and it's u3a coffee morning. I scuffed my rear car bumper on one of the village stone walls yesterday. Managed to avoid doing that for 40+ years. I'm pretty cross about it and need to learn what, if anything, I can do to fix it without incurring huge cost.

Nearly all car bumpers seem to be plastic and very easily damaged now. All I can think is t cut if it’s just a minor scuff then maybe one of the body colour polishes.

Took a while to get off to sleep last night. Bit of a headache and just couldn’t relax. I have stupidly been drinking normal tea again and think caffeine just doesn’t agree with me so back to totally avoiding it I think. I’ll stick to Barleycup and try and force myself to get used to herbal teas.

Looks a decent morning so off for a walk soon.

Did I say it's a good drying day? Pitch black and heaving with rain now. Bugger! At least I hadn't put the first load out, so tumble dryer it is. This rain is just bloody typical, one of today's targets was to create some time to do much needed allotment work. So I've made the time by cracking on this morning and now it's wet. GRRRRR!

Thanks @Mo1959 the T-cut is a good idea. I think the scuff is too deep for this but it's worth trying.

Assuming it is a colour coded bumper, like @Mo1959, I would try T-Cut, or, even just 'normal' car polish, if the scuff is surface only. If the scuff is deep enough to leave actual gouges, then, perhaps, one of these chaps you often see in supermarket car-parks offering fixes for "dings" etc.

If it is not a colour coded bumper, I would try applying "back to black" type product followed by brisk rubbing, if the scuffs are deep, again, I would search out one of the "ding fixer" chaps.

Well it was your first scuff in 40 years, and as Cat Stevens / Yusuf wrote: The First Scuff is the Deepest "

Morning all :hello:

Sunny today by the looks of it.
Woken at 6am by bloody seagulls kicking off. Right blimmin racket, don't know what they thought was threatening them.
My work platform arrived yesterday, so I can finally get around to cutting the very tops of my hedges. Might get on with that today.

Morning all, looks bright here in North Wales, but more rain forecast, so not sure on my plans for today.
I seem to have caught my wife's cold despite best efforts with First Defence, so may just stick to guitar playing today. Trying to learn a very old song by Camel, but there's a ludicrously fast section I'm stuck on , but I'll get there - up to 60%speed though, so some way to go yet.

If you can see the primer or underlying plastic then T.cut is a waste of time.

Camel! A real blast from the past - I'd totally forgotten about them.
