Just got up and getting my sailing stuff together. Though to be honest if the forecast is correct I don’t think I will be leaving the clubhouse…….. and the bar . 😂😀😀

We have been to this pub twice and Bro n SiL had Sunday lunch both times. Must say it really looked good.
Sadly I know what would happen if they put it in front of me.

Order the small/child's size lunch.
That's what we always do and we find that it's plenty.

Good morning all from a windy Barnet.
The first load of washing is on as it is a good drying day.
Our daughter and son are coming over later today, so I am cooking a roast chicken dinner.
Dog walking, domestics and Tour watching are the order of the day, I think it's too windy for bike riding today.

Morning again. Not long back a 9 mile walk. I always like to do a bit more on a Sunday morning when it's quiet. Lots of black clouds lurking but for once they didn't rain on me

So what to do with today? Wet and windy out so allotment plans are abandoned. I need to check over my Cervelo as the forecast is decent for Monday and then I think it will be odds and sods for the day.

The Mens' final looks interesting, I'll watch a bit. If it's entertaining I'll continue, if not other stuff to do. Mrs P will be rooting for Alcaraz, I've no preference, I don't have an issue with Djokovic the way so many tennis fans seem to.

I was with three big tennis fans last night, Mrs P and our hosts. Interesting discussion about the enjoyment of watching. If it's Rovers I'm engaged from kick off, any other professional sport it's up to the players to engage me, entertain me. Like the young lad Arthur Fery we saw at Wimbledon. He was excellent, great attacking tennis and I'll remember him next time round.

A good friend of mine has recently set off to ride The Great Divide - Banff, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico. 2700 miles, 150000 feet, 90% gravel and off road. To say I am envious is an understatement. Looking forward to a vicarious ride on Strava and other social media.

Did a 40 kms ride earlier and now watching the TdF.
