I'm doing the comparison site dance this morning, I've got a quote seventy quid under the renewal price, I'll be talking to my insurers later.

Our car insurance went up £100 but the Meerkats & Opera Singing Goon could only shave a tenner off.

On the other hand the Meerkats managed a ton off of our Buildings & Contents renewal.

The insurers are having a laugh at the moment imo.

Yes definitely, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

Started out lovely and sunny but now gloomy (again!).

I have a new heavy-duty strimmer awaiting its first run-out. Looking like rain though.

Nothing planned for the day but that's nothing unusual here. Does the regular absence of planning form a plan in, and of, itself, I wonder?

Enjoy your respective days all.

I think you have to actually plan NOT to have a plan🙂

Just received a text to say my delivery is coming between 1 and 3 pm. That's good service as I only placed the order yesterday afternoon. Well done Chain Reaction.
Now, guess what I will be doing later on then?
My Trek will be treated to a brand new chain which will be tested on a ride tomorrow afternoon, weather providing of course.

Bit worrying - went a week ago due to pain when pressure put on a tooth but it had been getting better since making the appointment

He found an infection but it was between 2 teeth so he gave me some antibiotics to see what happened
Seems to have fixed the problem

BUT - I am worried that he will say that it will just come back and want to take th tooth out anyway - really not sure about doing that!!

Reasonably common and can be spelled Thompson as well.

Just counted the members on the local Crieff and district friendship page on Facebook and there are 47 which surprised me. Didn’t think there would be as many. Not all still living in Crieff but nearby or had been at one time.

Back from dentist

no remaining problems - he tried everything but no pain or even twinges
He cannot tell which tooth was the culprit - and if he takes one out and it turns out to be theother one then I will end up with a huge hole on the top jaw - which is already at least one short!

Anyway - he reckons that if it happens once then it normally happens again - but it could be OK for ages so I have decided to leave well alone for now and go back if it start up again

Of course - he only sees peope if they have a problem - so if someone has a problem but the antibiotics cure it and it then gets left alone and never comes back - he probably would never notice!

so - all well and no cost!
