Evening folks i am indeed a very happy bunny! have fixed the bike but it wasnt the LBS.....they sorted the wheel bearings and i fitted a new cassette as i had chewed up the teeth on 8th gear......took it for a spin and it still slipped ****** Damn it the bike has had a new chain/chain ring/cassette so whats left? the derailleur! there seemed a lack of free movement/weak spring in the top part which attaches to the frame so having stashed a spare a while ago i put it on. Having no idea that would sort the problem was pleased to say the least! The LBS didnt see any problem here and missed it...should they have? i dont know but im just happy i can stomp in 8th without any slipping!

It's something to do with a virgin today

they are hard to find around my area anyway , a protected sub specie under the wildlife act. I thought i caught a glimpse of one recently , moving low behind a hedge , but when i went to investigate all i found was a ladies ripped undergarment

I was brought up on a council estate, they were an endangered species there.

Morning. Gosh, big difference in the time it’s taking to get light now. Looks like another overcast but humid day with the chance of showers.

I felt an itch under my watch band last night and thought it was just the band irritating me, but when I took it off to stick it on the charger I found a tick. Don’t know how it got under there. Hate them. Pulled it out with tweezers but it’s still itchy.

Cooooeeeee. Chilly and misty here. I have a load of washing in the machine already. It's supposed to be nice today so I should get it all dry.

The gasman cometh this morning to fix our smart meters.
They were supposed to come last month but just didn't turn

Good morning on another sunny day in Dorset. Walked into Wimborne for Physio yesterday, it was such a pleasant morning that I walked back and met up with the walking group that my wife leads. Ended up with a Mo-tastic 17km walk under my belt.
Slept well despite post physio discomfort. Going to watch the football then head off to do some IT work for a friend who's In Bournemouth Hospital.
