Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
My goodness. I went outside to get my washing in and it'd blooming hot here. Some very dark clouds as well so I wouldn't be surprised if we are in for a storm.

Took MrsP to LRI oncology for result of yearly scan. All good. Now two years post OP . Next scan due in twelve months

Parking at the LRIis horrendous. They built a five floor multi story car park to ease the pressure on the surface car park and it did ease the parking problems .But now they are building on the surface car park.
When we came out it was one out one in.
Back to the days of one hour waiting times.

Car parking at Coventry's university hospital is one out one in most of the time, its not unusual to find people driving laps of the car park waiting for a space, earlier this week taking my Brother In Law and his wife in I rolled up to the hospital and had queue to get on the grounds, that was about quarter to eight in the morning, I was glad I was just dropping of and didn't need to park.

Our local hospital, Barnet General has a large carpark, built on the site of the old Victorian buildings, but if you don't get there early before all the clinics start you have next to no chance of getting a space. Plus it's quite expensive as well.

I started to get a taxi. £18 return but took the pressure off.......until the kids went back to school and I found many taxi companies are contracted to run the kids everywhere. I could get there but not get back......I had to phone my daughter to come for me.

I don't get any luck, I asked my mechanic to have a look at my car as the fuel injector or the leak off pipe is leaking, but the big problem is it will not start and can not be towed as it's automatic and he said he would have a look at it at my flat that was 10 days ago, went to see him today and he said he can't do it and has let me down after 19 years of knowing him.
So I started phoning around for a mobile mechanic as soon as you mention diesel fuel injectors they don't want to know, so I started looking at diesel fuel mechanics, after God knows how many calls sorry maybe able to do it in 6 to 8 weeks time as we are fully booked.
After that I gave up, I wish now I hadn't bought the dam car, I use to do all my own repairs, but with all this “modern” engines I really don't know what I'm looking at and have never worked on a diesel before, but I'll have another look tomorrow at the “leak off pipe” which I found on
you-tube and that could be the culprit.

This afternoon has had an autumnal feel to it, the lavender in the front garden has had its autumn trim and I've brought the pair of pots of sweet peas round the back for breaking up and disposal, they've been magnificent all summer but are now well past their best.

A long day with brunch at the local followed by granddaughter's hair appointment then taking her on the bus back to her mum's. Her flat is within walking distance of Alum Chine so we sat in the back garden and watched a few aircraft wizz over including the Red Arrows and an astonishingly fast and loud fighter jet. Went to place our order at the chippy for collection only to find a two hour wait! Back home now knackered and tucking into a cheese sandwich.
