If 6 Was 9
Back from the harbour.
Three pints of scrumpy and a pasty hit the spot. :okay:
Had to have an ice cream for pud on the way back.
Tomorrow, I shall be tackling the jungle at the end of our pond. There's about 20 ft length of growth approximately 12 ft high. Think i'll just chop it all off at the base and start again - dig it over and plant some different bushes.

Why, are you pregnant?

Dr Anna knows my medical history so our greetings generally go along the lines of : " Hello Dr Anna "
: Hello Kevin, any change, are you well ?"
" Still above ground Dr Anna "
" Very good Kevin 😁"
I'm a bit concerned that she changed my appointment from 12 to 9 months 🤔...

I had a blood test a few weeks ago, they phoned me to tell me some of my readings were a little high, "still within normal range" they said, and I had a second blood test a couple of weeks later, now I've had a message telling me I need a third blood test but not until the end of November, they say its to check my kidney function, I'm a little worried at that as they haven't told me the results of the second test yet.

I shouldn't put to much weight on not hearing your results, if there's anything of concern they will hoik you in pronto. From time to time they give me the " whole armful " of tests, but blood tests are a lot more sophisticated now, they use " cytogenetics " to detect changes that previously needed a bone marrow biopsy

Yes, if it had been major I would have heard, but it sounds like they've spotted something minor so I can't help but wonder what it is.

24 degrees when we left the Park just before eight this evening. A bumper crop of conkers judging by how heavily laden the trees are. The Public phone boxes that were repurposed as planters are almost completely overgrown and we spotted a couple preparing to launch a radio controlled model yacht on the segregated section of the Lake.

Or they've mislaid your last blood sample, which is why they don't have any results to give you.

Possible but unlikely.

Thinking of selling most of my bikes. Probably won't want much for any of them, just want shot. Do you folks think its worth advertising them on here first?

Could be worth a go , though most of my bike buying recently has been though fb groups.
But if you want some advice KEEP THEM . As long as you have them you will still be a proper cyclist in your mind 😀. This is coming from a man that still has four bikes and has only ridden twice in two years , both times last week. 😀

On the other hand if you have a medium sized gravel bike , a Moulton or Brompton in good condition, I will pick them up tomorrow. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
