What can I say. 😆. To be fair, My jewellery was bought around 30 years ago. And I inherited some from my mum last year.

I’m not a jewellery person at all. The very occasional time I have stuck something round my neck, I usually forget about it and pull a jumper off or something and catch and break the chain. I am double watched though…..Garmin Epix on my left wrist and Apple Watch on the right.

Yes, dress occasions now.
Sue bought me a lovely gold watch years ago which I wear on special occasions eg I wore it last week at my sons wedding.

Back from the 40s weekend 'do' in Watchet and Sunday lunch at the Bell. Very good time had with our best mates.
Unfortunately, the Bell ran out of Stan's cider halfway through our meal, so we had to decamp to Pebbles, across the road, for pudding (more cider).
Well ..... lots of pudding later we stumbled out of Pebbles and (somehow) made our way home.

Morning. Jeez, it’s still muggy. Last day though. I will get up tomorrow to a temperature half what it is this morning. No doubt I’ll be complaining it’s cold! I have a very narrow band of temperature that I feel comfortable with.

Leccy meter engineer booked for today but I just said anytime suited me so I’ll need to be in all day until he arrives. OVO are crap and have loads of previous for not turning up according to a forum I’m on, but since it’s in their best interest for me to have a working meter hopefully he’ll turn up. I’m still battling with SSE for a vastly inflated final bill that wiped out my credit with them. The whole energy industry should be nationalised again and start looking after customers rather than produce obscene profits for the CEO,s and shareholders.

That was a good sleep, better than expected.
I "put my back out" yesterday and had no choice but to dose up on Ibuprofen. Still struggling but you just have to find a way to get on with things. Hopefully it will ease up soon.
