Scampi and chips washed down with 3 pints of 'Bees Knees' cider from the Torre cider farm just up the road.
Had a wobble back and an ice cream on the way.
Had to have a nap when we got home (ice cream always makes me tired!).
MrsD's sold her Bantam and is now looking for an AJS 'Cadwell' 125 cc.

the spiders have *****ed off which im pleased about 
Brought in all my outdoor tomatoes which are festooned [good word that] all round my windows. They look quite decorative in various shades of green/yellow/orange/red and taste good too. I have risen!
I'll be up the pub for lunch with Bruce as someone is viewing the house.
Then playing a gig tonight in the next village.

An interesting day beckons.
Family is coming round and they are starting to alter things for when they buy this house. Today they are moving sheds in preparation to having a garden room installed. It will be my daughters "treatment" room so will have electrIcs, running water and wc.
There is also someone coming to board out the loft (which is big).
Lived here since 1982 but have to accept that all things must change.

Weather's looking good today, so I think I'm going for a bimble over Exmoor on the AJS.
Got to take a load of garden waste to the tip when I get back - car and trailer job + two dumpy bags.

Morning. A slightly overcast, cool but dry morning here. Not as cold as the forecast said though.
Had a stroll round our local club's 10k trail race in reverse direction and actually got all the way round without tripping on the hundreds of exposed tree roots and stones. I usually trip at least a couple of times.
