Vacuuming done. Dishes washed. Washing in the washing machine. Bed made. Dusting done.

Now to start sanding down the door frames and skirting boards and door in the bathroom. I may be some time.

Well, I made it to Aldi.
Rapidly going off that place. One week you buy an item that you enjoy. 2 weeks later you just cannot find the same product......if you can find an assistant (a BIG if) the response ranges between "couldn't give a sh*t" and really couldn't be arsed.
Think I will try Lidl and see how I get on.

I noticed that as well. Bought some sausages that were really nice. 2 weeks later they didn't and still don't have them. Either do them or don't. Don't mess around like this.

Mr WD is complaining. I have asked him to unscrew this. Remove that. Get me a scraper. Take the blinds down. Remove the doors to the airing cupboard. He has told me " I'm a pensioner you know. I shouldn't be doing all this '. Funny how he is only a sad old pensioner when it suits him.

Morning all . Another good day here on the south coast.

We have been for coffee , watched model yacht racing on the slipper pool and the picnic is made.
Looks like another good days holiday. Off to Gosport and Stokes bay today .

Our staples are there every week.

Very occasionally they may be out of stock of something but generally their model (excluding the middle aisle stuff) is to lock in long-term price fixes with suppliers.
