Good news with regard to our project to convert our downstairs toilet / cloakroom to a shower room to" future proof " our home in case I get doddery in years to come. Our plumber had given us the name of a bathroom fitter who popped round this afternoon on his way home from work. I had a text saying he was on his way to me from the job he was on in Sandbanks 😮
He was excellent, cast his eye over the cloakroom / toilet and came up with some creative ideas while explaining what is and isn't possible. He's going to contact his preferred supplier to come up with a couple of design options and send a quote once we decide what we want. In the meantime we can visit the wholesalers showrooms to see what's to our liking.
He said he was relieved to be away from his job in Sandbanks, apparently the clients are both unrealistic in their expectations of the time custom stuff takes, and obnoxious in their attitude.

Morning. Big drop in temperatures for us. Just 8 degrees this morning with a max of 11 later. More like it should be at this time of year. Even colder nights by the weekend. Wouldn’t be surprised if there was a nip of frost in some places.

No rain yet, but it's on it's way.
We should be able to get out with the dog for a long walk which includes walking up to the market via the fields, then I think MrsP wants to visit a few shops whilst I will go to the dog friendly cafe for tea and bacon sandwiches.

Good morning fellow retirees. My " Garmin training plan " for our new years day 1/4 marathon wants me to do " speed repeats " today 😮
I like the fact that the training plan automatically adjusts depending on how your body is coping, and usually posts an encouraging/ motivational message post workout. I'm expecting " Give up fatty " after today's session 😄
