Back from my hilly willy walk. Gosh, autumn is back with a bang. Heck of a lot colder. Not complaining though as I prefer it and the forecast is actually looking really good apart from the cold winds.

I've just managed to renew my Garden Waste Collection service for next year. The cost has risen to £65, the fortnightly collections start in February and finishes the first week in December. It's a large green bin, and I know some of our neighbours share theirs and we let our neighbours know if we've got room in ours should they need it.

Gosh, I thought our £45 was dear.

I don't need a "Garden Waste Collection service" .....so not being able to sit outside in the garden on a nice sunny day has saved me money so it seems suntans cost money in more ways than one.

Late on duty, letter of apology is in the post.
I rely on the light (fading dark) to wake me around 0600........ today it was really dark and I slept till 0700.
I decided on an Aldi dash while my legs were ok.......hardly anyone in there.

Our jumps up each year, this year was £38 so it could be anything this year.
