We managed to get out for lunch between the showers, chose Food Whitehall, for that one we use the bus stop nearest our house and going we get off the bus across the road from the cafe, coming back the bus stop is right outside the cafe, I was backing my Good Lady out of the cafe to go home and I looked up and the bus was already at the stop and the bus driver waited for us to cross the pavement so we were able to get that bus.

I've just managed to renew my Garden Waste Collection service for next year. The cost has risen to £65, the fortnightly collections start in February and finishes the first week in December. It's a large green bin, and I know some of our neighbours share theirs and we let our neighbours know if we've got room in ours should they need it.
I got banned from the local recycling centre. Their argument being that I was doing it for profit. I felt they didn't like losing the money, about £150 over 10 years ago.
Clearing hedges on three sides does create a fair bit of waste to clear.

Morning. Must have dozed off again. Don’t mind. I’ll take an hour’s sleep anytime I can get it.

Massive difference in temperature here now. 2 mornings ago I was getting up to well into double figures. It’s just 4 degrees this morning and I’m sure I can see a slight frost on some of the roofs. A bit of a jolt to the system changing so quickly but we will soon get used to it.

Need a warmer jacket for the morning wander.

Don't think I will ever get used to it. I have hated the cold since I was a small child and still do.
A pleasant 70° all year round will do me.

Misty/foggy here.
It was really dark here at 0630.
Daughter and granddaughter are calling later and bringing lunch. Apparently we are having those 'Mexican' wrap things with various fillings.
TBH I have never tried one as I suffer with acid and they look what I call 'doughy'......I will find out.
