WARRINGTON BIN COLLECTOR STRIKES.
They have been out for 2 weeks and are due back 16th.
They have just announced they will only be back one week** then out again for a further 2 weeks.
**in that week they will only collect black, general waste, bins.

Morning all :hello:

Had some rain overnight and looking decidedly murky today.
I shall be spending the day in my workshop, changing the tyres on my 350 AJS. It's a job that I would have dived straight into a few years ago, but for some reason it's filling me with trepidation.
I'll probably be OK once I get started. Got to be done.

Serious question.
Do the people that do car tyres eg Kwikfit do motorbike tyres ?

Misty/foggy here.
It was really dark here at 0630.
Daughter and granddaughter are calling later and bringing lunch. Apparently we are having those 'Mexican' wrap things with various fillings.
TBH I have never tried one as I suffer with acid and they look what I call 'doughy'......I will find out.
Ponchos?
Walk in food...

Regarding the mist/fog situation earlier, could you see more than 1,000 metres or not. If not it were a fog you had.

Some do but I wouldn't trust them with my stuff.
I had a Kwikfit place wreck a wheel off my racing sidecar once.(13" spun aluminium wheel). Cost them £500 (30 years ago) and they contested the cost until I produced receipts for a new one.
If I do it myself, I know it's been done properly.
Basically, if it ain't a bog standard steel car wheel, be wary of chain store tyre fitters.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
