Our nearest park run is in Perth but the area they use got flooded in the heavy rain as the stupid council didn’t close the flood gates in time. Not sure if it’s dried out yet.

Morning all

Off out for some shopping this morning as we won't be able to use the cars on Monday or Tuesday due to road resurfacing.
Met a lovely couple from Coventry when we were in Pebbles yesterday. They'd recently moved to Minehead and had heard about our little 'cider secret' here in Watchet.
Had quite a good chat, during which it turned out they were looking for a soft fruit press. Fortunately, I'd got one which I was thinking of selling. Anyway, they gave us a lift back home in the pouring rain and a deal was done.

Good morning all.
It's a bit cooler here this morning, but a bright sunny start to the day.
All the usual things to do today, including dog walking, and a bimble out on the bike to the local shops for a few essentials.

That was a gorgeous walk. Perfect weather for walking. Cold but dry and sunny. The paths and trails are drying up nicely now that we have had a few dry days in a row.

The sun is now shining. Still really wet underfoot, but at least we have sun.
