I woke at 0600 with a loud bubbling type noise. Turned out to be the rain hammering down (outside fortunately).
I may well join Welshie in slobbing. No visitors planned, even my cleaner has cancelled as her car is poorly.

Good morning all, we've got a leak, I came down this morning to a soggy worktop.

Classic......a dream for you to get your mind around.
In my dream I was woken at 04.30 by a none existent neighbour**.
He was on my drive playing with his dog. The dog was large and had long white fur.
We ended up in my house with the dog resting its head on my lap while I stroke it.
**I do have a neighbour but the guy in my dream was no one I knew.

There were other details but they were lost in sleep.

Good morning all.
Another damp and rainy day in prospect today. Fortunately being an outdoor kind of person I don't mind what the weather throws my way. Nor does the dog. The cats on the other hand still go out, but don't look too happy.
A few things to do this morning, and then it looks like we'll be catching up with stuff on the telly box.

Morning folks the wind is remorseless aint it ever going to run out of puff......A neighbour had his greenhouse trashed last time we had storms and he replaced it with the same model..... i wonder if its in one piece today.
Be interesting to see what the waves have brought in- usually something i can use in the garden like fishing crates as planters.

They came with the adhesive already on them. It was a case if removing the plastic backing abd sticking them on the floor, or not as the case was . The glue Mr WD is using seems to be working OK.

Mrs tkk and I both have an appointment at the Doctors tomorrow to receive our Shingles vaccine. We're both being jabbed at the same time as they are running three clinics in parallel in the new church annex. It might be interesting as the Surgery has been inviting me for a few years now, and I respond by asking which vaccine it is as I can't have the attenuated live virus. This is met with silence. I chose the clinic that is being administered by the Doctor, and will ask face to face what vaccine he is planning to use. If it's not the one that's suitable I will explain my frustrations at the ongoing saga and try to get them to organise the correct vaccine.

Bonjour. Been raining all night and still is. Set to last all day as well apparently. Not going anywhere today . My daughter is coming to see me mid-morning so that will be nice. My bike needs cleaning from yesterday's ride but it won't be today.

Practice your limp. Claim old age/dry rot and get daughter to clean it.

With those extra thick winter bloomers it would surely be 3 weeks before you felt the damp.
