Morning folks :okay: didnt get the high winds here but its pretty soggy out there. I dont know if my usual route is flooded which is annoying because if i cant get across i'll have to back track which means a compulsory 50 mile ride! Think i'll just go up and down my windfarm hill a few times. :okay:

It's the disruption caused by a house move.
I had the same thing earlier this year. Took several weeks to get back to normal waking time.

Don't give him an excuse Dirk.

We were discussing Statins in the pub yesterday. I was recently called in for a health check and despite all my vitals being good ( regular exercise, no family history of cardiovascular disease, non smoker, vegetarian diet for 60+years, cholesterol level of 3.1 ) I still triggered the algorithm that recommended Statins)
I will stick with daily porridge instead of statins, I have a mental image of fluffy flakes of porridge oats coursing through my bloodstream soaking up excess cholesterol 😄

I've been on statins since my close encounter with angina in 2008.

Just went out into the garden and slipped on a paving slab.
Went down hard on my right hand side. Thought I'd broken my arm/shoulder for a few seconds, but realised it was OK.
Very bruised and battered - had a cuppa and a couple of Paracetamol and now resting up.
Amazed how quick it happened considering that I knew the slabs are slippery.

Indeed it happens so quickly.
Happened to me when I was young and fit....... bang, knocked myself out and broke my thumb.
Hope all is well.

I’ve not have the best of days so far . Woke up feeling rough but better than I have for a couple of day.
Decided to go to volunteering. So got everything ready, tools , gloves, hat, buff, old coat and waterproofs, cakes for our coffee break as it my birthday today 😀 and some paper work I needed to deliver while I was over in Leamington.
When I got there, I realised the only things I had picked up and put in the car was my coat and waterproofs and the cakes 😂😂😂😂😀😀.
So I left the cakes with them and came home to pick up the paperwork as it has to be in by Friday afternoon and I am busy all day tomorrow.
I hope they are enjoying the cakes as they should be eating them about now . 😀

It’s very easily done . Hope you feel better soon.

Lady in a Cherry Picker just turned up to string the Fibre from the new pole to the house. Discussed the cable run and she was happy to leave sufficient cable string it to my preferred point. She couldn't do the final connection because the team who baled out two days ago had " lied on the job sheet " about what they had actually done, so they will have to come back and finish the job.
Meanwhile, I have to collect our granddaughter from school which is a long bus journey away, made worse by the traffic disruption due to local flooding. I'm allowing an extra hour for the journey, If I do arrive early her school is across the road from a decent Pub 👍
