Spent two hours chopping away at my conifer hedge Absolutely knackered. My own fault I let it get to high.
Filled my brown bin so not able to finish off. Two weeks before the next brown bin collection.Yippee.

Ordered this. They get very good reviews and the company is known for its great customer service.

Reviews (independant sites) all say that it is solidly built and great vfm.

Also like the 'soft cushion' deck too - older joints and all that!

Also comes with 2 year parts and labour warranty which is unusual.

2 man free delivery to inside of house and minimal assembly required.

Ordered on Friday and delivery is this Monday coming - super quick considering the weight.

We had a B&H Fitness before, cost more but really disappointing to fail as it has.

True to life.......a lot of years ago I was driving along a main road a there was a lady walking along and she had her skirt caught in her knickers.
I decided I couldn't let the poor woman carry on so I pulled over and politely told her. She was embarrassed but it had to be done

Had a busy day in the garden.
Borders tidied up, lawns cut, branches lopped, #2 greenhouse window repaired, #1 greenhouse cleared and prepped ready for next year, compost heap topped up, paths swept and hedgehog house installed.
Need a rest now!

Morning has broken and I can't sleep

Morning. Another cold but dry start. We have rain due by evening though then it’s back to a showery and windy mix for the next few days.

I’ll get out soon. Sunday mornings are about the only quiet times now.

Morning all,
A bit of a cool, cloudy start to the day here.
Dog walking, domestics and maybe a bimble out on the bike later on are the order of the day.
I got a piece of beef, topside, from the butcher for today's dinner. So a good old fashioned roast beef dinner will be had today.

This lurgy is very persistent. The first indication was a persistent itch inside my left ear. Then the usual symptoms, dotty dose, sore throat, headache, sore eyes. My left ear has started itching again, I'm hoping it is a sign that the lurgy is leaving. I've been pondering on this and have developed a new theory that we actually catch colds through our ears, and just as people wear face masks to help prevent the spread of COVID, all the people we now see wearing big headphones in the streets are actually being considerate in not wishing to spread their colds to others. 🤔
