The rain arrived as forecast. I popped onto the exercise bike and just did 9 miles to round the week up to 80 miles.
Just had cottage pie and beans for tea.

No but we do have a back up battery that we can plug say the Internet into, or a couple of lights. We have the wood burner as well and plenty of candles and solar outside lights

Why
Had a very enjoyable roast lamb lunch at the Star. Also had the best pint of Otter Ale I think I've ever had. Mind you, the guy who owns the pub also owns the Nuttycombe brewery, as well as the brewing rights to the old Cotleigh brewery ales - he bought the assets when they folded a couple of years ago - so he should know how to present a good pint.

On the plus side, I have fixed the cost of our energy with Octopus for 12 months too.
