Looks nice out there - think I'll get up in a moment.

Well, I did not feel like it but went to Aldi. I am trying to avoid the pre christmas madness.
They do a nice sliced, seeded loaf. I'm sure it's not as nice e as Dirks malted one but for 79p it's a good deal. I also got some sliced ham so that's my lunch sorted.

Salut. Making the most of the day without rain, I managed to go for a 18 kms ride and it felt good. It is 3 weeks since I last went due to weather conditions.
We are going to see the lady we are buying the house from at 1.30 just to ask a few questions the agent can't answer. Yesterday, the agent said it will take about 12 weeks to complete! I don't think so as there is no chain and no mortgages involved. We will have to push the solicitors, that's all.

Morning folks :okay: its 2.30 am and cant sleep so made a coffee and went on ebay...probably not the best time. bought a friend in zummerzet 'Wind in the willows' dvd with Matt Lucas. Only got a couple of people to get prezzies for but its always a head scratcher what might appeal. I dont really 'do' xmas apart from that.
Managed a ride yesterday...the conditions were right on the edge of my comfort zone with ice visible at the side of the road on the higher ground. Anyhow felt better for it and came back in one piece :okay:

I was on my bike in the evening…….but just indoors  At least it wasn’t cold, quite the opposite once you get going! That’s 110 miles on it since I got it a week past Monday. Haven’t even lost an ounce though. I think I would need to exercise 6 hours a day and almost stop eating to lose weight. I used to find it so much easier when I was younger. Maybe too much yo-yo dieting over the years has fecked my metabolism up.

Think there was some rain overnight but it’s off now and to be a decent day. I’ll get out soon.

Barnet,
Morning all,
There seemed to be something at the bottom of the garden this morning.
Millie, our Collie roared off barking and growling, then the cats came racing back through the cat flap.
It's another grey, drizzly day weatherwise, and looks like it will be all day.
There is a meeting of the escape committee at the Railway Bell this afternoon.
