Good morning from a tropical Poole ( 11 degrees). A tad blowy but not too bad. Nothing planned yet apart from popping around the corner to the local shop to pick up some wine 🍷
It's a sort of Safeway/ Morrisons version of a Tesco Express so has a limited selection, but surprisingly some decent stuff at a price that matches the larger stores.

I pushed the boat out and paid £5.39 from Aldi ^_^

We've got one of them up the High Street. Used to be an R S McColl but Morrisons took it over a few months ago.

Riverside trail done with just a few little spits and spots of rain. Still really mild. It's good being able to turn the heating down a bit. Might save a few pennies. Not that I will see any benefit until Ovo get my account sorted out, so maybe in a couple of years time! 😡

Ah! That was it, McColls it was. I've been quite impressed with the range of stuff they carry, and the prices are good for a small shop.

Morning folks :okay: over slept and woke up realising its bin day eek! i put an old dears bin out and she wouldnt be impressed if i missed them...so dashed out before they came.
I have a neighbour who pops a card through the door...wish he wouldnt as i have to reciprocate and not going to the shops for one card  anyhow im making some flapjack today which he likes so will give him some of that. :okay:
*ooh just had a dvd come through the post- Doc Martin series 8. I used to be a big fan of DM but it started to get a bit old-theyre adults for goodness sakes just sort the relationship issues! Most of the villagers seem demented  but expect it'll entertain me for a while. :okay:

I remember shopping in Morrisons and there were women who had whole shopping trolleys full of just toilet paper. They must have thought the end of the world was about to descend upon us.

They're probably still using them the amount they bought!

Good afternoon. Still rubbish weather here but I am looking forward to seeing my son and daughter together later on. It isn't often we get the chance to do that as they both have busy lives. A picture will be called for of the three of us together and will be on my screen saver on my laptop when I get home.
