I charged £10 per day, but in them days insurance was not needed and now everybody asks "are you insured"
I stopped dog sitting when they wanted £300 plus a year for said insurance as there was no guarantee you will be employed all year
Kennel prices have always been high
Did the dogs food come put of that £10 a day?

My opinion (and I have been known to be wrong) but that should have been discussed before you started.
I once had a friend and I did quite a lot for him and his family.
One day I asked him to do something for me.......paint my house number on a plaque. He did it, no problem, then without warning, charged me.
End of a friendship and I have never forgotten it.

I honestly don't know what to do so maybe wait to see if she mentions it when I have finished her book. I only do about 2 pages a day but it is still hours of work as it is quite challenging. It will still require read proofing afterwards to finalise it before printing .

Ooo, new gloves. Did one of the easy robo pacer group rides. My heart rate barely got out of zone 1. The time goes in quick when you are concentrating on staying close to the pacer.

Happy New Year everybody ! "have we not heard the chimes at midnight ?" well we will later on , some of us will be sated with alcoholic beverages and stagger like Sir John Falstaff into 2024 . The more fastidious of us will resolve to cut down on sugar , junk foods etc and become fitter and healthier in 24 . I looked up my diary entry for this time last year , sighed and smiled . Ah well

Good day to all.
A decent sleep although a bit broken. Woke for a pee to find it was 0630 which I was happy with.
I am going to try Aldi at 10.00. Apparently they open the doors at 0930 so you can peruse and fill your trolly but the tills don't open till 10.00.
I am just making my list but I find shopping for one person difficult as things eg packs of ham are too much for me, won't freeze and have a short life. Even worse for salad.
Mo, Numbnuts, what's the secret ?

Don’t ask me. I live on porridge, sarnies and ready meals

It’s not quite as cold but there’s still slushy snow lying around so not sure if I want a walk or not. I’ll see how I feel after a cuppa.

Only buy things that will freeze, salad stuff will last for a good week or more, keep fridge at 5c.
