Morning all :hello:

Our recycling men have been at 7am and woke me up with their merry clanking and shouting.
Looks like we're in for more rain today.
I'm told 'Storm Henk' is on it's way - the last one was storm Gerrit - what's with all the Dutch names?
Off to the Star for Sunday lunch today.

I thought " Gerrit " was a Welsh name as that chap who's quite good at cycling is called by it.

So.......what do you put on your sarnies that will keep in the fridge ?
Cheese, yes I enjoy but can only eat so much of it.

Egg(hot or cold) or make up some tuna mayo, cold meats with tomato, etc. If you are lazy like I am at times, you can even buy tubs of sandwich filler.

Strange weather this morning. It felt mild when I first went out and the slush was soft but when daylight came in it seemed to drop a couple of degrees and started to get crispy and a bit slippy.

Buy whatever packets of cold meats you want and split the contents into food bags and freeze the excess.
Cold meats, ham, beef chicken etc do freeze easily. And defrost quickly when needed.

I shop at Aldi and if I recall correctly the pack says not to freeze.
Do you think I can ignore that?
There top side beef slices are very good ...lean and tender.
