Yes, that is the problem ^_^

To me honest if I have too much of anything I'll put it in a pie of some sorts.
I had a hamper for christmas and it was a cooked joint of ham too much for me so I had a couple of meals out of it, then with a chicken breast from the freezer I made 4 chicken, ham and mushroom pies for the freezer, nothing goes to waste at Numbnuts Hovel.

I take my hat off to you as I would not have a clue how to make a pie, that was my wife's domain.
Being a woman I asked Mo for advice and she said "Coop, 3rd Isle on the right" ^_^

I hate driving when it's like that especially if there are trees and the sun flickers through them.

And I won't go for a ride in those conditions either for fear of being hit from behind.

Making a pie is easy. I take it you have a pie dish in the kitchen. Buy ready made pastry, make whatever filling you want. Onion, diced steak/chicken/veg, just like making a casserole, thicken and leave to cool.
Grease a pie dish with Margerine, cut pasty to size, leaving enough for the top. Place pastry in the dish, fill with the mixture, put pastry lid on , crimping the edge with a fork.
Preheat oven, 180c put pie in oven cook for 30-35 mins until golden brown.
Simples.

Making pastry is even more easier and if you have any left put in in the freezer.
